Artful thinking

One 92-year-old client had all her wits, but serious macular degeneration. I realized that it was extremely difficult for her to visualize how her things would look in the apartment she had chosen.

So we all got creative.

To show her where things would go, I brought a roll of brightly coloured tape ( red, green and fluorescent yellow) and outlined on the floor the exact footprint of all her important pieces of furniture. It helped her to see how suitable and safe the apartment would be.

As a result, she got really happy about the upcoming move with Jasmin Transition, and expressed her excitement to her family and even the grandchildren!
